How to DIY a Spring Wreath Using PEEPS®

With all of us stuck at home, its easy to overlook the seasonal decorations that put a smile on our family’s (and neighbor’s) faces. If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to brighten up your home and transition into spring. When you run out of activities do do with your kids, this DIY decoration featuring the season’s favorite treat does the trick. We teamed up with PEEPS® to create this easy decorative wreath that you can make with your family. (I know what you’re thinking, but no, wreaths aren’t only for the winter holidays.)

If you have more cupcake liners than you know what to do with, you’ll only need a few more supplies to get started. Here’s everything you’ll need for the craft:

STEP 1

Start by choosing a spot on the foam wreath form to place an open tulip cupcake liner or regular-size cupcake liner (these will later hold a PEEPS® Marshmallow Chick) and hot glue it down.

STEP 2

Hold a regular or mini-size cupcake liner in a contrasting color by the bottom center and scrunch it upwards to make a flower-like shape.

STEP 3

Hot glue the bottom of the scrunched liner to the wreath form close to the open liner, but not so close that it squishes the open one. Repeat until you have surrounded the open cupcake liner with scrunched liners.

STEP 4

Repeat steps 1-3 until you have covered the entire wreath form with liners. Be sure to have at least 4 to 5 open regular-size liners.

STEP 5

Finish the wreath by hot gluing colorful PEEPS® Marshmallow Chicks inside the open regular-size liners.

STEP 6

Hang your colorful wreath anywhere in the house to instantly bring a touch of spring inside!
